I haven't written here because dA has been far from my focus.  Since I've submitted some things recently, though, I must strongly state that there's no point in looking at my images anywhere between thumbnail and full view, because of my focus on texture and detail.   So please click the magnifying plus thingie, if you get to the point of seeing it.  :) I hope everyone's doing great!

Having fun with textures and shading, eh?
:)
I'm certainly a big fan of using technology to mitigate the distortions of other technologies.
It is all good.
I'm not one to use technology to alter a scene either.
I just like the shots you've been doing lately. Makes me want to do something more artistic than just grab shots of rusty trucks. :D
Have you read the short story "The Machine Stops" by E.M. Forster? I think it's possibly the most influential thing I've ever read, particularly with respect to my privileging of aesthetic richness.

Not sure quite how you mean it, of course... I'm certainly fascinated with textures and gradations of value, but I don't mess with them much these days!
The Republicans have deemed you a danger to their master plan. They are sending rutabagas after you. Beware!
Could've used this info before that embarrassing incident!
